Quins said a fond farewell to crowd favourites, Tani Fuga and David Strettle with a five try bonus point victory over Sale Sharks at the Stoop.

It will be an emotional game for Quins fans as on Saturday they will not just be saying goodbye to the season but also to a couple of Quins favourites.

It was always going to be a tough challenge but Quins did themselves proud against a Leicester A side which was loaded with International and first team experience. However, the underdogs kept themselves in contention up until the end with a try on the 80th minute which saw them narrowly miss out, 29-27.

There is no doubt that tonight's A League final will be tough challenge for the Quins A side at Welford Road.

Quins secured their place in the A League final by defeating the Leeds A side by an impressive 8 tries to 0, with Waisea Luvenyali kicking all but 1 conversion.

A strong first half performance from Quins, which saw them go in at half time one point in the lead, was cancelled out by a dominant Tigers pack which, roared on by the home crowd, saw them come back with an impressive trio of tries.

After a disappointing loss last week away at Wembley against Saracens, Quins will have to be on top of their game tomorrow when they head up the M1 to Welford Road to face top of the table side, Leicester Tigers.

It was a good night at the Stoop for Quins. With a busy LV= stand cheering them on, the Quins A side completed a 38-6 demolition of Wasps A.

The sun was shining, Right Said Fred we getting Deeply Dippy, Jade Kindar-Martin was walking the tightrope across the top of the stadium, gymnasts were vaulting, circus performers were bouncing, leaping and somersaulting, the crowd were buzzing with anticipation and finally the teams stepped out onto the pitch for what was billed as an enthralling encounter.

It will be the first time many of the Quins players will have played at Wembley Stadium and with the away side boosted by last Saturday's win against Leeds, Quins will be determined to follow it up with a much needed away victory.
